DAY 1: DEPARTURE FROM DELHI

Meals: None

21:00 Hrs: Departure to Haridwar (205 km). Night journey.

DAY 2: HARIDWAR – SRINAGAR

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

05:00 Hrs: Arrival at Haridwar. After fresh up in Choultry/ Hotel, proceed to Rishikesh (24 km). Visit Shivananda Ashram, Ram Jhoola, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, Lakshman Jhoola. After lunch drive to Srinagar (105 km 4 hrs). Overnight stay.

DAY 3: SRINAGAR – GUPTA KASHI – RAMPUR  

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, depart from Srinagar to Hari Devi Temple, Kaliya Saur  (15 km/ 1.5 hrs). Later proceed to Rudraprayag (18 km), the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers – Alakananda and Mandakini, have Sangam view of Alakananda and Mandakini and then drive go Okhimat (42 hrs), visit Shri Omkareshwar Temple (this is the place where the Pooja is performed for 6 months while the Kedarnath Shrine is closed).
Later drive to Gupta Kashi (10 km), visit Shri Kashi Viswanath Temple (Arthanariswar Temple) and further to Rampur (24 km). Check into hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 4: RAMPUR – KEDARNATH – RAMPUR

Meals: Lunch and Dinner

05:00 Hrs: Depart to Gaurikund. Proceed to Kedarnath (19 km) by Pony. After performing pooja and Darshan of Shree

Kedarnath ji return to Gaurikund and then to Rampur by coach (12 km). Overnight stay.

NOTE:

• In case you are travelling by helicopter/ walk/ Pony/ Doli, the return will be on the same day with night stay at Rampur.
  Those who are travelling by walk (19 kms. Approx each way) / Pony/ Doli, have to start early in the morning of Day 4, so that you can come back on the same day.
• For those who are not able to go or get the Registration for visiting Kedarnath, the alternative programme for Day 8 would be as follows:

DAY 4: RAMPUR – KEDARNATH – RAMPUR

After breakfast, proceed to Triyugnarayan Temple (19km – one way), the Holy place where Lord Shiva and Parbati got married. Tourist will have to go there by local jeep. Later drive to Gaurikund to visit Gauri temple. Then drive to Rampur, on the way you may visit Mund Katiya Temple (Ganesh Temple) (3 km/ 20 min). Passengers will have to trek for 500 m (one side) which is a narrow road. Return to Rampur. Evening visit Durga Temple at Rampur – half a kilometer by trek. Overnight stay.

The buses cannot ply/ move in the places mentioned in the alternate tour itinerary. The passengers will have to hire jeeps/ cars available locally, for which the cost will be approximately Rs. 250/- to 500/- per head, which will be borne by the passengers.

DAY 5: RAMPUR - BADRINATH

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner     

06:00 hrs. Departure to Badrinath (238 km/ 12 hrs). Upon arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 6: BADRINATH - PIPLAKOTI

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

13:00 hrs. Morning after darshan of Shri Badrinath ji, visit Mana Village the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border. After lunch drive to Piplakoti (79 km – 4 hrs). Upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 7: PIPLAKOTI – HARIDWAR – DELHI

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

05:00 Hrs: Departure to Haridwar (241 km/10hrs). Have Holy bath in Ganges, and Harati at the Ganges in the evening. After dinner, proceed to Delhi (205 km/ 5 hrs). Night journey.

DAY 8: AMRITSAR – KURUKSHETRA – DELHI

Meals: None

04:00 Hrs: Arrival in Delhi. Tour concludes.

NOTE: As per new government regulation due to last year calamity only 200 people are allowed to visit the shrine with a Pre-registration per day. AS per the information given by Tourism authorities only tented accommodation are available at Kedarnath for emergency only.
