DAY 1: DEPARTURE FROM DELHI

Meals: None

21:30 Hrs: Departure to Haridwar (205 km). Night journey.

DAY 2: HARIDWAR – RISHIKESH - BARKOT

Meals: Breakfast

05:00 Hrs: Arrival at Haridwar. After fresh up in Choultry/ Hotel, proceed to Rishikesh (24 km). Visit Shivananda Ashram, Ram, Lakshman Jhoola. After lunch drive to Barkot (216 km/7 hrs). Overnight stay.

DAY 3: BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT   

Meals: Breakfast

Departure to Hanumanchhati (32 km/ 1.5 hrs). Later take a local Jeep to Janakichatti to shorten your trek by 5 km. Proceed to Yamunotri temple by walk/ pony/ Doli. (Approximate charges for both ways by horse would be 800/- to 1200/- and doli 2,500/- to 3,500/- approx) Return to Barkot. Overnight stay.

DAY 4: BARKOT - UTTARKASHI

Meals: Breakfast

00:00 Hrs: Leisure time till noon. After Lunch, Proceed to Uttarkashi (100 km/ 4 hrs) upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 5: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI

Meals: Breakfast

07:00 hrs. Departure to Srinagar (160 km/ 8 hrs). Upon arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in Ganges, perform pooja and return to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay.

DAY 6: UTTARKASHI – SRINAGAR

Meals: Breakfast

7:00 hrs. Departure to Srinagar (160 km – 8 hrs). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 7: SRINAGAR – GUPTA KASHI - RAMPUR

Meals: Breakfast

05:00 Hrs: After breakfast, depart from Srinagar to Dhari Devi Temple, Kaliya Saur (15 km/1.5 hrs). Later proceed to Rudraprayag (18 km), the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers – Alaknanda and Mandakini, have a Sangam view of Alkananda and Omkareshwar Temple (This is the place where the pooja is performed for 6 months while the Kedarnath Shrine is closed). Later drive to Gupta Kashi (10 km), visit Shri Kashi Viswanath Temple (Arthanariswar Temple) and further to Rampur (24 km), check into hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 8: RAMPUR – KEDARNATH – RAMPUR

Meals: Breakfast

05:00 Hrs: Depart to Gaurikund. Proceed to Kedarnath (19 km by Pony), after performing pooja and Dashan of Shri Kedarnath ji return to Gaurikund and then to Rampur by coach (16 km). Overnight stay.

NOTE:  

• In case you are travelling by Helicopter/ Walk/ Pony/ Doli, the return will be on the same day with night stay at Rampur.
• Those who are travelling by Walk (19 km. Approx. each way)/ Pony/ Doli, have to start the trek early in the morning of Day 4, so that you can come back on the same day.
• For those who are not able to go or get the Registration for visiting Kedarnath, the alternative programme for day 8 would be as follow:

DAY 8:

After breakfast, proceed to Triyinarayan Temple (19 km – one way), the Holy place where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married. Tourists will have to gi there by local jeep. Later drive to Gaurikund to visit Mata Temple. Then drive to Rampur, on the way you visit Mund Katiya Temple (Ganesh Temple) (3 kms/ 20 min). Passengers will have to trek for 500 mts (one side) which is a narrow road. Return to Rampur. Evening visit Durga Temple at Rampur – half a kilometer by trek. Overnight stay.

The buses cannot ply/ move in the places mentioned in the alternative tour itinerary. The passengers will have to hire jeeps/  cars available locally, for which the cost will be approximately Rs. 250/- to 500/- per head, which will be borne by the passengers.

DAY 9: RAMPUR - BADRINATH

Meals: Breakfast

06:00 hrs. Departure to Badrinath (238 km/ 12 hrs). Upon arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 10: BADRINATH - PIPLAKOTI

Meals: Breakfast

13:00 hrs. Morning after darshan of Shri Badrinath ji visit Mana Village the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border. After lunch drive to Piplakoti (79 km – 4 hrs). Upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 11: PIPLAKOTI – HARIDWAR

Meals: Breakfast

05:00 Hrs: Departure to Haridwar (241 km/10hrs). Have Holy bath in Ganges, and Harati at the Ganges at hari-ki pauri in the evening. After dinner proceed to Delhi (205 km/ 5 hrs). Night journey.

DAY 12: ARRIVE DELHI

Meals: None

04:00 hrs: Arrive at Delhi. Tour concludes.

NOTE: As per new government regulation due to last year calamity only 200 people are allowed to visit the shrine with a Pre-registration per day. As per the information given by Tourism authorities only tented accommodation are available at Kedarnath for emergency only.
