DAY 1: ARRIVE CHENNAI

Meals: None

Arrival at Chennai Airport/ Railway Station. Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel. Afternoon, proceed on a sightseeing tour of the city, visit Kapaleshwor Temple, Fort St. George, Government Museum and Marina Beach. Overnight stay.

DAY 2: CHENNAI – MAHABALIPURAM – PONDICHERRY - TANJORE

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, proceed to Tanjore (340 km/ 7 hrs). En-route visit Mahabalipuram (Pallava’s Panch Rathas, Arjun Shilanyas) and Pondicherry (Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Ganesh Temple). Upon arrival at Tanjore, check into hotel. Evening visit to the famous Brihadeshwara Shiva Temple (built by Chola Kings). Here you can see Giant Nandi carved in a single stone, which is considered to be the second largest Nandi in India. Overnight stay.

DAY 3: TANJORE – TRICHY - RAMESWARAM

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, proceed to Srirangam (55 km/ 1.5 hrs). Visit the largest temple of Lord Vishnu at Srirangam situated on a 600 acres Island between the rivers Kaveri and Koladam. Later, depart to Rameshwaram (226 km/5 hrs). Upon arrival at Rameswaram (Gateway to Srilanka), check into hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 4: RAMESWARAM - KANYAKUMARI

Meals: Breakfast

Early morning visit Ramanatha Swamy Temple. Take bath in 22 holy wells and visit Pamban Bridge. After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari (325 km/ 7.5 hrs), the end of land area of India, which is a meeting point of the great three seas (The Arabian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean). The glory of Kantakumari is its sunrise and sunset. Visit Vivekananda Rock. Overnight stay.

DAY 5: KANYAKUMARI – SUCHINDRAM – MADURAI      

Meals: Breakfast

Morning enjoy sunrise at Kanyakumari. After breakfast, proceed to Suchindram and visit Thanumalaya Temple which is a unique as it is dedicated to Vishnu, Shiva and Brahma. After lunch, proceed to Madurai. (250 km/ 6 hrs). Upon arrival, check into hotel. Evening visit to the famous Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay.

DAY 6: MADURAI – CHENNAI

Meals: Breakfast

Morning check out from hotel and proceed to Chennai (460 km/ 8 hrs). Tour concludes.
